Main functions

Open budget meeting for the financial year 2011-2012 at the initiative of Shimanto union on 3rd July 2011 in border UP hall room. Mr. Md. Shahjahan Ali, Chairman of Shimanto UP, chaired the open budget meeting for the fiscal year 2011-2012 at the border UP hall room on 3rd July 2011 at the initiative of Shimanto union under Jibannagar upazila. The draft budget for the financial year 2011-2012 was presented by Mr. Md. Haroon Or Rashid, Secretary of Shimanto Union Parishad and the meeting was attended by the members of Shimanto Union Parishad and people from various professions of the area.

 

The land office people working in our border UP are as below.

 

Main Functions of Land Office:

 

A) Collection of land management and land development tax.

 

b) Properly preserving the ownership of land.
